Provider Seminars in May 2009: Register Now

Practitioners in Oregon and Washington are invited to our upcoming seminars to gain knowledge, proficiency, and skill in the principles and clinical practice of Alpha-Stim Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) and Microcurrent Electrical Therapy (MET).

Our workshops review the research, FDA status, and clinical use of CES and MET, safe and increasingly popular non-pharmacological treatments of anxiety, depression, insomnia, and pain. CES can be used as a standalone therapy and it also combines well with CBT, EMDR and biofeedback therapies. It can be invaluable tool of every mental health practitioner. Certificates of proficiency are available upon successful completion of a multiple-choice test. Continuing education credits (7 hours) are available through the Washington State Psychological Association.

Workhops are scheduled to be held May 16, 2009 in Spokane, WA and on May 30, 2009 in the Portland OR area (Vancouver WA). Please call us at 800-684-9343 if you are interested in enrolling or if you have any questions. You may also email us at info@alleviahealth.com.

Filing with insurance

Many patients want to know how to file insurance claims for Alpha-Stim devices for all of their FDA-registered indications, including anxiety, depression, insomnia and pain. We strongly encourage all patients to file claims for their Alpha-Stim units. Although we currently do not file insurance claims for individual patients, our staff will be happy to assist our clients in the process. We can provide clients with sample cover letters to use when filing a claim and we can talk with adjusters or medical directors at insurance companies to provide additional guidance and education. Alpha-Stim insurance filing information is available at: http://www.alleviahealth.com/insurance.htm The cover letter may be requested by writing Allevia Health, Inc. Patient Support at info@alleviahealth.com.
